Airfree Strawberry Test Video
Objective
To provide visual proof of Airfree's efficiency to preserve food as well as it's ability to protect the environment of the room against fungi and mold.
Location
Two identical bedrooms, both measuring 310 square feet in size. All windows and doors were closed during test period. Neither room had the benefit of air conditioning. One room was protected with Airfree, the other room received no indoor air treatment.
Time Span
This test was conducted over ten days.
Materials Used
Two strawberries from the same box, purchased from the same store at the exact same date and time. Neither strawberry was treated with any special chemical or exposed to exclusive contaminant.
Protocol
A single strawberry was hung by a nylon cord in each of the two identical rooms. Airfree was placed in one room and turned on two weeks before the beginning of the test and remained on during the test. The room without Airfree unit did not have any air treatment before or during this test. Photos were taken twice a day for ten days.
Conclusion
This test clearly shows that the strawberry hung in the room without Airfree was completely consumed by fungi and mold. The strawberry in the room protected by Airfree did dehydrate, but showed no signs of fungi or mold.
